    is made of leather with iron bands on it. It is round and narrows coming onto the pipe which brings the wind to blow up the fire. The tools the smith uses are a sledge, plyers, hammer, pincers and rasps. The most useful things to the smith are the anvil and the bellows.
    The smith does some of his work out side. When he is mending machines. ploughs and harrows. When he is shoeing wheels he does it out side because he has to make a fire of turf to shoe it.
    The forge water is a good cure for warts and sore eyes because of the iron being in the water. The smiths were always looked upon as been
