    This is a story told to me by my father about a man named Mr Moss who lived in Galway.
    He wanted to make a road from Dublin to Galway without a bend on it. He hired men to make it. When they had it made as far as Clane a district outside Edenderry, he met a church. He wanted to knock the church, but he would not be allowed. So he never finished the road. Parts of this road are still used.
