  1. My uncle and a man named John Cummins got the loan of a car from a neighbor named Jeffares and when returning the car to the yard at a late hour three frightful roars went at the kitchen door.
    When they were taking the car off the jennet when the thing came over to them choppin like a big sow.
    John Cummins went away from my uncle praying as fast he could.
    When uncle got the car off the Jjennet he would not move, he thought of his beads and he hung it on the jennets head and he moved like a snail.
    And when he got out on the road the jennet was covered in white froth and the hair stood on both their heads with fright.
