  1. Long long ago to a certain house in Old Ross a priest was called to attend a dying person.
On his way he passed an old vacant house, and as he was passing the gate of the old house he heard lovely singing and music.
When he went to the house to investigate, and when he went in he saw nothing but two big hounds and they were lying on the old hearth stone.
When they saw the priest their eyes lit up with fire and they disappeared out through the roof and were never seen again.
The priest continued his journey and was in time to anoint the dying man.
