    Travelling Folk
Some travelling folk or tinkers still call to our home, they are mostly tinsmiths who sell their tin-wear and swop asses. They are not very welcome as they are very insistant on selling their ware. They settle in a lie-by erect a canvass tent and stay for a week. The best known of the tinsmiths are the O Connors and Dorans they travel in companies, attend all the faird but not patterns.
