    Great Walkers
Rev Mr Stenson, a former rector of Templeshanbo sometimes walked from here to Dublin. The old people tell of one occasion on which he walked to Dublin, bought a pair of boots. On returning home he discovered he had left the boots behind. He started off the next morning + walked to Dublin + back again bringing the boots with hom on the second journey.
