    time that he was going to do business at the Asylum. Morrissey met him coming back before he reached Enniscorthy.
    Swimmers. Anthony Bond could take run and turn three times before reaching water, when diving.
    Mrs. Biddy Darcey, Watch-house, Clonegal, Co. Carlow, used to start for Dublin with butter, on Sunday night and be back on Wednesday even with a load.
    Noted Dancer. James Sheridan, Ryland Rd., used to teach dancing. Aged ninety two when he died in 1933. He was Peter Sheridan's father, Ryland Rd.
    Storytellers. Larry Lawlor lived in Irish St. His stories would often last a week. They were told at the fireside. Native of Black Ditch as in Co. Wicklow. One of his stories was that turnips were so big that the sheep used to scoop them out and yean in them. Women used to bring the turnip home to set hens in them. He had a horse that would set salmon in the river.
