    Local Ruins.
There is an old castle near Clohamon. It was built by the Normans. There is only the front wall standing now. The door and window are oval shaped. It was owned by a family named Redmond.
There is a castle near Kildavin, Co. Carlow. It has an underground room. There are lights seen in it at night.
There used to be a castle in Clonmullen, Co. Carlow, and the stone that was over the door is over Mr. Monahan's door in Church Road, Bunclody.
