If you meet a black cat you will have good luck. If you are going to a place it is unlucky to turn back. If you see a hen with a straw hanging from its leg someone is going to die. It is unlucky to hear a hen crowing. It is unlucky to hear a cock crowing in the day. It is said that a whistling woman is unlucky. If you kill a swallow in a cow-shed the cow will milk blood. If a knife falls on the floor there is a friend coming to the house. When a picture falls off the wall someone is going to die. If a cock crows in a house it is unlucky.
