    and finding her in tears asked her the reason for her tears, she told him she had no bread for the children and no means of getting it. He told her to get some flour and water and to mix it into a dough, which he blessed, and told her to keep a small portion for the next cake and every cake after that. The cakes turned out splendid and the blessed dough has gone around the County Wexford for a great number of years even to the present day.
