  1. One day two tinkers went to a priest and asked him to marry them. The priest consented.
    They had no money to pay him, but said they would make some tin cans for him.
    A year later the priest met them with a fine load of useful articles "Well" said the priest "you never gave me the tin cans for tying the knot"
    "Begorra" said one of them, I will give you the ass and car, and what is in it, if you open the knot now.
