    a chain, at the end of this chain there is a round ring of iron called the "Reehan" which he puts in on the stake. When the cow is put into the byre the chain is fastened firmly around her neck. Then when the cow is lying down the "Reehan" runs down the "stake" and it runs up the "stake" when she wants to get up.
