  1. There was an old school on Annagh lake shore.
    The woman that taught in it was old and poor and she had nothing to eat only what the children would give her. The children used to wash her clothes and fill them with water until they had them worn. There was no Irish taught in the school. One day she went to do some shopping and when she came back the house was down.
