    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    All the old people used to build their houses in hollow land for shelter. They cut the shape of their house out at the foot of the hill. The walls were built of blue clay and rushes. When a man was going to build a house he went into a field of blue clay and dug up the clay. He put rushes on it. Men came out with horses and rode them on it and tramped it for a couple of days till it was hard then they began to build. The roof consisted of bog oak kept together with a wooden peg.
