    and then the woman went out and let the little boy go before the giants got up in the morning, so he was saved by the woman.
    There is a big stone in John Joe Mimnaughs field in Derryheelan. A big giant tried to throw it from Sleiva in Eirinn to Ciarn Hill and he was not able to throw it so it fell there and remained in that place. There is the track of his five fingers and hands on it. The stone is about 3 cwt weight.
    I was told these stories from my mother who is 54 years of age.
