    house at the foot of Carin Hill and a Great big giant and his wife and two other giants lived in it. One night the two giants got a young boy astray along the road and they brought him to their house and he was put into a room or Cell, till the big giant came home, and then they would kill the boy and eat him, when the two giants went to bed they slept soundly and the woman took pity on the poor little boy, and hid him in a little house outside. So when the Old giant came home he was very tired and he went around the house looking for something to eat, and saying -"fee fi fum I find the smell of a fat little boy, and let him be living or let him be dead and I will eat him before I go to bed" but the woman prepared a great big supper for the great big giant, and have him plenty of whiskey to drink so when so when he was full and drunk, he fell into a big sleep
