    Limeburning: John Leavy, Tom Clabby and Michael McNamara burn lime at present in Clondra. Their forefathers before them used to burn lime. They quarry stones and fill the kiln and put the stones through turf or coal and leave it burning for days. Then they take it to the market and sell it by the barrel.
    Cooper: There is a man in Clonard named John Cox who is a cooper by trade. He made Churns.
