- Once upon a time there lived an old man and woman and family. One night the man was out rambling and the woman was after putting the children to bed when she heard a step outside and the latch was raised. The woman of course thought it was her husband and turned around and couldn't see anything and she had a sow and little pigs on the floor in the kitchen and sow jumped mad through the kitchen and nearly killed the little pigs. There were goats outside the door and they could be heard miles(continues on next page)
