  1. As the Holy Family were going to Egypt Mary got a great desire for cherries. She came to a cherry tree but but there were no cherries on it. Saint Joseph said to her. "Let the highest branch bend to the lowest and let the father of thy child put cherries on it." She put up her hand on the tree and found as much cherries as she desired "althogh" although there were none on it at first.
