a man cured of rheumatism at this well in years gone by. He applied the water to the effected part and it was cured. The old people say it is not right to leave this well without saying some prayers. The Our Father and three Hail Marys are usually said. The is now used for household purposes and everyone who goes to the well ties a bit of string on the tree, There are no rounds or stations performed there but it is always looked on as being a holy well.
