    months. All work except cleaning roads and saving live-stock and repairing commucations was at a stand still, and many lives were lost. A man died in Killard on instructions from the corner. He was burried in Bealrath graveyard without an inquest. The neighbours had considerable trouble in procuring a coffin and carying it across fields and ditches.

    A ball of fire fell on a hill in Dromore and then it lit on a fort in Lorig. The man that owned the fort was called McCormack. He saw it happening and he got rheumatic pains and he was a cripple all his life-time.
