    This happened about sixty years ago between Kinnegad and Killbeggan.

    and the lads after it.
    But to their great surprise it didn't fall off.
    After it had gone thirteen Irish miles the lads failed and turned for back. But about two hundred yards from the place they turned back the box fell.
    A man named Connelly found the box and gave it to the bank. He was accused of cutting the straps and taking down the box, and would have been put to jail only that the people around Kilbeggan knew him well and got him out of it.
