    Asked where was the Hermitage the hunter told him and then both went in to the Hermitage. The horse-man gave Holy Communion to the dying man. It was never known who the priest was or where he came from.

    A song written by Michael Brennan, Cloneyhigue - about 100 years ago. It was told to me by his nephew James Gilligan, Clonfad. He recited it for me without any trouble although he is an old man. He heard his mother reciting it:
