    Under the belfry is a flat stone in the wall on which is the following inscription:-

    POLLARD ESQUIRE
    PROPRIETOR OF THEM
    AT HIS OWN
    EXPENCES
    1716

    The Belfry at Kinturk (now the Manor House) is at the entrance to the yard. The inscription is easily decipherable
