    If your hand is cut on Good Friday you have no luck.
    People would not throw out ashes on Hansill Monday afraid they would have no luck for the rest of the week. If you do you will lose something.
    If the banshee cries on the first of April it is a sign of war.
    Monday's child will fatten.
    Tuesday's child will slacken.
    People love to start work on Friday so as to be lucky in the position.
    If you wash your head on Good Friday you will not have a cold for the remainder of the year.
