    brothers had their horses stabled near Tullyhill I won't say where. When the night fell they mounted their horses and as hard a hoof could strike the ground and got home safely. The letter the brother sent contained instructions how his career should end. Where he fell is a mile from Finea and the spot where he fell is called the [púca?] on account of the helmet.

  2. Holy wells are very numerous throughout [are?] the country but I know only a few which I can say anything about. Bishop Hughes' and St. Bridget's are the only two I know of. They are convenient to my home.
    Bishop Hughes' well is about a mile from my home. In older times this Bishop was on his way to a sick-call and he lost the key of the Tabernacle. When he was coming back he picked up the key and a well sprang up in that spot and these the well was
