  2. The patron saint of my parish is St. Erc but St. Patrick is closely connected with it too.
    In the year 433 when St. Patrick went to Tara on Easter Sunday to King Laoirge he told all his servants not to show him any respect but when St. Erc saw him he bowed before him and received the grace of conversion. St Patrick ordained him and
