- (continued from previous page)living in it but they are not able to speak Irish. One of them is my Grandfather who is eighty one, he is not able to speak Irish but he is able to tell a few stories in English. There are more houses in it now than there were as there are a lot of new cottages getting built in it every year. In former years many people emigrated to America and Australia. The land in it is very good except one bit which is a bog. There is only one stream in it. It starts in the bog and runs down to the Boyne.
- The most harmful weeds in my district are the nettle, the plantain leaf, the Dandelion and the sorrel because they spread rapidly and those weeds grow in bad land but more often in good land.
