    round the farm and she is also able to do some house-work. This old woman is unable to tell stories in Irish but she is able to tell them in English.
    The only ruins that is in my district is the ruins of an old Castle which was owned by a family the name of Flemings and they all died away as the Castle was neglected and it fell into ruins.

  2. My home district is in the townland of Barristown in the parish of Slane and in the Barony of Navan.
    This townland is situated two miles from Slane and five miles from Navan. It is mostly in the Conyngham Estate, the remaining land is lying in Crinion's land.
    In this townland there is about ten families namely Vaugheys, Leonards, Heaveys, Morgans, Southwells, Mongeys, McGoverns, Crinions, Downes, Kerrigans.
