   to be some sort of a poor man who was killed there one night. There are four very old people living in it. Their names are Mrs Kenny aged 98, James McGuillan aged 77, Mrs McGuillan aged 80, and Mrs Brien aged over 100.
   The names of the families living in it are:- Floods, Hamills, Dohertys, Hoeys, Martins, Briens, McQuillans, Creegans, Timmons, Reillys, Maguires, Walls, Springans and McGins Gores and Garlands.
   The only one that tells us stories is Michael Creegan. He is well over 70.

   The townland in which I live in is very thinly populated as the houses are very few. There are only five families living in it. The town is known as the townland of the Hill of Slane and is situated in the Parish of Slane and in the Barony of Kells. The older generation are all gone and there is nothing only a young generation now in it.
