    took him out on his land? The boy said nothing and got afraid and tried to run away but the fairy caught a grip of him and led him to this fort and brought him inside and asked him some questions which he could not answer and then he gave him a drink which put him asleep. They lifted him up and carried him out side where he fell asleep and some people say he was in it for seven years. When he awoke up he did not know where he was and he wandered about for a while and then he recognised his house a little way off and he went to it and his mother would not let him in. After a while he told her his story and how the fairies brought him in and gave him a drink and threw him outside. She knew him and let in and she went and told all her neighbours
