On another occasion he was in the fair of Mullagh. He was after selling a cow. He said he had to go to see his old mother down hear. And the man said to him is it possible that you have a mother alive "yes" she is only 17 years older than myself.

A Big Stone

There is a a standing stone in Kingsmountain in a field owned by Mattie Mc Enroe. It is said to be brought from a field owned by Bartle Cahill and left standing there. There is some writing on the stone but it is very hard to make it out. The letters are mde in round rings.
