    One night a man went out to fodder his cattle. He discovered a little bullock eating at the cock of hay. He ran to drive him away but the bullock made for him and pitched him on his back. Away with the bullock across the country till he came to a fort where the fairies dwelt. He brought him into a grand ballroom where there was lovely singing and dancing going on. The bullock himself then turned into a beautiful fair maiden. They danced all night until morning and the lady changed into a bullock again. He put the man on his back and made for home. They came to a double ditch and jumped it and the
