    To whom it was told 55 years ago by an old man (local) named Thomas Brady.
    One time there was a weaver who used to weave linen for the King. He was called the bracked shin weaver as his shins used to be always bracked on account of his being always beside the fire. This time he was going to the King, he brought with him a sword which he got a blacksmith to make and a case for it which he got the harness-maker to make. After he had gone about twenty miles he came to a forest in which he rested. He had the linen for a pillow that night. The next morning there were thousands of horse flies on the linen. He took out his sword and killed
