(continued from previous page)Jack the Noggin man said "God bless us" which revived the bride and saved her from being stolen by the fairies. The old custom of saying "God bless us" when we hear anyone sneeze is supposed to have been handed down since "Jack the Noggin mans" remark at the wedding feast.
