  1. There are many shoe makers in the town of Navan. They mend shoes and boots. They put toecaps on boots. They also put soles and heels on boots and shoes. My father mends our boots and shoes. There was one shoe-maker in Kilmessan. His name is Patrick Martin. He lost the sight in one of his eyes about two years ago. He did not mend any boots since that time.
