    years after the famine. I can't find out how it disappeared.
    The parish priest of the time Fr. Keenagh (buried in Coole chapel) and his sister used to feed the poor at the parochial house in Summerhill. Some of the houses in Summerhill farmyard (owned by Lord Langford) were converted into a temporary hospital for the poor fever-stricken people.
