    3-5-38
    Hammer is used for nailing the shoes on the horse's hoof.
    Tongs is used for taking the shoes out of the fire.
    Bellows is used for blowing the fire.
    Knife is used for paring the horse's hoof.
    Nails is used for keeping the shoe on the horse's hoof.
    Anvil is used for beating out the shoe. The Soc is on one end of the anvil for bending the iron on.
    Rasp It is the long flat iron. When the horse's hoof is pared the blacksmith rasps the horse's hoof to let the shoe fit on right. One side of it is rough
