    by Sir Hawkins Whichett'. A wall was built round the pump and outside that there was a row of stones so that no one could draw a horse and cart too near the wall. A county council pump now stands in its place.
    Farms were never sub-divided among members of the family in marriage. Tithes were not collected on the Le Blonde estate.
