  1. I live in Tulla. There is a big river between Tulla and Corrakit. Some of the houses are slated and others are thatched. Most of them are only one storey high. There are only thirteen families in it and about forty people. There are only four old age pensioners, the eldest of whom is Mr. Owen Duffy. There are a good many streams in the townland. Duffy is the commonest name:
