  1. The patron Saint of Tullaroan is the Blessed Virgin. The date that the feast day falls on is the 15th August. Tullaroan got its name from St. Ruadan. On the fifteenth of August all the people of the parish dress their graves in honour of the Assumption.
St. Arudan is buried in the Moat about a quarter of a mile from the village. There is no holiday kept in honour of St. Arudan but there is one kept in honour of the Blessed Virgin.
