  1. There are about three tailors in the Parish of Tullaroan. They do not travel around from house to house but they all work at home. They buy their own cloth but sometimes the person that wants the clothes, buys the cloth and gives it to the tailor.
    The tailors do not spin their thread, but they buy it in towns or villages. The women of each house knit their own stockings, and it is often they were made for each member of the family. The tailors are to be seen working every day
