  1. There are not many holy wells in Tullaroan only three. there are two in Huntstown one of them is to be seen but the other could not be found.
    There is supposed to be treasure hidden in the one that could not be found. There were people looking for that well but they could not find it. There are letters engraved on a stone in the well.
    These wells were built by monks who lived in a church in Huntstown long ago. There is another holy well in Boggan but it is only a little pool of water and there is no cover on it.
