  2. Cill Stiphín 24.5.1938
    Some people say that Cill Stiphín was a bit of Lahinch that was swept away with a high tide and it is said there is a key in Mount Callan lake and if it is found the village can be recovered.
    It is seen every seven years and it is death to the eye that sees it.
    There is an old saying in Miltown
