All the flesh under the tumbler got cupped into the glass.
She raised the flesh by means of the glass and worked up the bone
This had to be done for three days and at the end of that time the man was all right.
Written by Arthur McKenzie who got this information from Michael Griffin, Postman, Flag Road. 65 yrs
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
  2. People say there is a blessed-well over in Kilcorcoran near Mike Honan's field.
It is in the place that "Micheál Cóimín" the poet lived.
This blessed well is dedicated to Saint Corcorcan.
Any person that would go to that well and do two rounds, every Wednesday and Friday for a fortnight, and say three Hail Marys at each of the rounds would be cured.
(got from Con Twomey, Church Street. 40 yrs)
