    all sailed for sea. In a few days they reached their destination. When they reached the palace, the Queen told Fionn why she wanted him. She said that a witch was going to take her only child that night. After they had eaten their supper they sat around the fire guarding the child.
    Suddenly Fionn felt a trance and after a while fell into a deep sleep. He woke up to find the men getting ready to chase the witch. When they went down to the strand they could see the blue light of the witche's a long way off
