    failed to return and William feared it might have met with some mishap. After a few day he came across the cat hanging on a tree where it had been placed after being shot with anotice attached "Trespassers Beware"
    William immediately concluded that it was a (Univer) University Student who was on holidays that killed his cat, in this he was undoubtedly right. He took out his pencil an wrote on the notice:-
    "Seven years in college spent
    Rebuked from school to school
    Came home and shot my pussycat
    The Ballnalacken fool"
