  1. About a quarter of a mile from my house stands the ruins of an old house. Long ago it was owned by the Hynes'. Francis Hynes and his mother lived there. His mother was O.Connell a descendant of Daniel O.Connell the great liberator. His Father was a lawyer and he had his office in Ennis.
    Francis Hynes did not follow the same trade as his father. He became a large farmer and his Father bought a lot of land for him. When he had all his land measured he had two hundred acres
