  1. There is a graveyard in Londford in Mr. Innocent Ryan's land. There's no remains of any head stones or other marks but the ground is very uneven. There were a great many buried there during the Desmond Rebellion and during the year's that followed on to the famine time. At that time is no longer used as a graveyard but still people were buried there. Ned Conway and John McGrath of Longford were digging there some years ago found a leather saddle and bones of a horse. These were found from time to time in different parts of the grave yard.
