    Then up spoke Kruger Hogan:

    Do'nt think we've come out to Dundrum
    To go home without a trial,
    In frost and snow we had to go
    And journey out so far
    Oh, before he's right, we're going to fight
    Says the boys in George's car.

    Then up spoke noble Brophy,
    Now the Cup is in the bag
    Don't boast so soon, says Rockey's bitch
    And her tail began to wag.
    Whoever wins the Cup, my boys,
    Must surely buy a jar,
    And the D'Arcy Cup must be filled up
    For the boys in George's car.
